Transplanted families need help
Transplanted families need help- By Abigail Klein Leichman | Published 02/22/2008

Most of them remain without permanent living quarters or jobs.Because the refugees of the expulsion are in such dire straits, frustrated by the government’s lack of assistance, Dror Vanunu is headed to the metropolitan area next week to seek help from American organizations and individuals.

13 Months after the Expulsion, Zero Building Begun
A month before the expulsion from Gush Katif, the Israeli Government began a campaign in the media at a cost of three million shekels with the slogan "There is a solution for every settler". This campaign included massive advertising on the radio, television, newspapers and the internet and described how the Government was completely prepared to take care of the displaced settlers with regard to social services, compensation, education, employment, finding agricultural land and more. Despite the fact the leaders responsible for conducting the expulsion knew the State was unprepared, the decision-makers chose to launch this erroneous campaign in order to gain the legal authority and public agreement to the destroying of Gush Katif.
